Peanut doesn't like change!

The girls have recently started their second session of ice skating.  Since Macnut will start soccer in August she will be stopping group lessons until soccer season is over (and she is fine with that as long as she gets to have practice ice time to keep up her skills).

So I figured that I would sign Macnut up on the day that her BFF will be skating & 'fast-track' Peanut.  Fast-tracking would mean that Peanut would be able to take group lessons 2-3 times a week instead of 1.  Peanut was keen on this idea until she went out for the Wednesday group lesson & found out that the instructor for the lesson was not her favorite coach.  The new instructor came over to help her out on the ice & there was a look of sheer terror on her face & she started crying like crazy (poor thing).

We basically stood out at the doorway of the ice with her crying the whole time.  Other coaches tried to get her out by asking if she wanted stickers or if she wanted to fly out to the lesson.  She flatly refused all offers, even my offer to buy her something from the gumball machines or snack bar.  This is highly unusual as she is very easily bribed.

Not quite sure what happened that day, but I had to unfast-track her & sign her up for Thursday lessons as The Favorite Coach is luckily teaching her level that day.  When we got home I asked her why she didn't want to go out on the ice, she said 'I don't like changing coaches'.

The next day, Peanut went out on the ice happy as can be as soon as she saw The Favorite Coach.  Oyvay, I wonder what is going to happen next session if The Favorite Coach isn't teaching her level.  Does that mean that we have to start shelling out for private lessons for Peanut?
